Business Development Manager

Our client is a company specialized in the design, sale, execution, and servicing of refrigeration equipment and installations, using both NATURAL and HFC refrigerants. With a strong focus on sustainable and efficient HVAC solutions, they serve a wide range of B2B clients in the industrial, commercial, and construction sectors. On its behalf, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow the customer portfolio and partner network, while actively contributing to the company’s expansion in the region. The job is based in Bucharest and has national coverage.

Responsibilities:

Business development: Identify and engage new B2B clients in the HVAC industry, expand the company’s footprint in Romania and neighboring markets;
Sales Process Management: Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and technical-commercial consulting, to offer preparation, negotiation, and contract closure;
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities;
Client Relationships: Build strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in construction, installations, and facilities management sectors;
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical, marketing, logistics) to ensure the successful delivery of products and services;
Representation: Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the company’s solutions and increase visibility.

Desired experience & skills:

3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in HVAC, construction, or technical installations;
Solid understanding of HVAC systems and equipments;
Strong negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills;
Results-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision;
Proficiency in English (spoken and written);
Driving license (B category) and willingness to travel across Romania.
