Logistics Manager

Our client is an international company, leader in manufacturing sustainable indoor climate comfort solutions and having sales and distribution activity in Romania. In this position, you will lead a local Logistics team and be actively implicated in all supply chain processes. This role includes also the responsibility of the warehouse in Juc Herghelie, inventory management, warehousing monitoring, transportation efficiency. The office is in Juc – Herghelie, TRC Industry Park, Cluj.

Logistics and warehousing

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments;
  • Arrange customs clearance/declaration and any other logistic official documents for international shipments;
  • Develops and streamlines operational flows and work procedures for the logistics department (warehouse and delivery to customers, handling customers issues, reception of goods);
  • Monitoring and on time tracking of internal deliveries and transport to the customers;
  • Coordination of logistics activity optimizing transport costs;
  • Collaborate with management & sales team for the fulfilment of KPI’s: on time delivery to the customers, optimization of stock level, planning for customer internal deliveries and international acquisitions of goods;
  • Implication in the monthly forecasting of stock, inventory demand;
  • Launch external/ internal supplier orders, coordinating the overall process, check the prices& terms conditions
  • Coordinate the annual stocktaking;
  • Reporting to Local Authorities via RO TRANSPORT application;
  • Managing and developing the logistic team and warehouse team; responsible for Health & safety protection, periodic health employee verification.

Desired experience & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in related field or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistic management, import/ export management, warehouse management;
  • Knowledge of international trade;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to succeed in an ever-changing environment;
  • Highly flexible, organized and effective time management, ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel;
  • Fluency both in Romanian and English languages.
