Senior Expert Accountant

For our client, the financial leasing branch of a leading car manufacturer, we are looking for a Senior Expert Accountant. As part of the accounting team, you will ensure the integrity of the company’s broader accounting information and processes, in accordance with the legislation applicable to non-banking financial institutions (IFN).

Responsibilities:

Organising the financial and accounting records according to the legislation in force;
Ensure the role of interlocutor for the Audit / financial control courts (internal and external) as well as the role of interlocutors for the State Control Authorities related to the activity: BNR, ASF, ANAF;
Calculation and recording in the accounting of the profit tax at the terms established by law;
Preparing and submission of all fiscal declarations by the legal deadlines;
Preparing financial reports to head quarter and local authorities, ensuring the relationship with fiscal authorities/auditors;
Monthly justification of balances and turnover analysis for the accounts allocated from the trial balance;
Implementing annual audit and other similar missions, by preparing specific documents requested;
Implementation of accounting models for new products / processes;
Participates in the provision at analyzes and reports to management and collaborates with other departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting;
At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting in banking / non-banking financial institutions (IFN) and in-depth knowledge of the applicable legislation;
Solid knowledge and experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for consolidating financial statements;
At least one certification: CECCAR and/or CCF or CFA/ACCA/CAFR member;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office; experience in the use of ERP systems;
Analytical thinking, structured and solution-oriented; planning skills;
Thoughtful, constructive communication and negotiation skills; team spirit;
Probity and tenacity; ability to understand and react quickly and obtain work results consistently accurate;
English language – advanced level.
